Water tower

This feat of metal and PVC local engineering swivels to allow the tractor to manoeuvre the sprayer into place for filling with water. The nearby pump draws water from the dam into the sprayer’s tank quickly.

Depending on the wind direction, copper may be added to the sprayer. Avoid getting copper in your eye. It burns, almost requiring a trip to the Melbourne eye hospital.

When you turn off the pump, don’t leave the tap on the arm of the water tower open. You will wake to find that overnight watering has directed a jet several feet into the earth.
